These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Dovene website and any related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing our website or engaging Dovene for services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or Services.

Description of services

Dovene provides software engineering services to small and mid-sized businesses, including SaaS product development, telecommunications systems, AI & ML solutions, cloud infrastructure, embedded systems, and internal developer platforms. Specific deliverables, timelines, and fees for any engagement are governed by a separate written service agreement or statement of work between Dovene and the client.

Use of the website

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You may not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our website
  • Use automated means to scrape or extract content without permission
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and the Dovene name and marks, is the property of Dovene or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws, unless otherwise stated. Ownership of work product created during a client engagement is governed by the applicable service agreement, not by these Terms.

TOU.05

Client engagements

Any project, statement of work, or service agreement entered into with Dovene is a separate contract that may include its own terms regarding scope, fees, deliverables, timelines, and ownership. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and a signed service agreement, the service agreement governs for that engagement.

TOU.06

Confidentiality

Dovene treats client information shared during an engagement as confidential and uses it solely to deliver the agreed Services, except as required by law or as otherwise agreed in writing. Formal confidentiality obligations for a specific engagement are typically set out in a mutual non-disclosure agreement or the applicable service agreement.

TOU.07

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dovene will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to a specific engagement will be governed by the limitation of liability terms in the applicable service agreement.

Disclaimer of warranties

This website and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Warranties applicable to delivered engineering work, if any, are set out in the applicable service agreement.

Termination

We may suspend or restrict access to our website at any time, for any reason, without notice. Termination of a specific client engagement is governed by the terms of the applicable service agreement.

TOU.10

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Dovene is registered to do business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there, unless a signed service agreement specifies otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
